Brukprov is a breeding evaluation event for stallions that takes place every year in February/March. Breeding evaluation means measuring, describing and grading the appearance and performance characteristics of potential breeding stallions with the aim of producing as clear and objective information as possible. Stallions between the ages of 3-5 and also older stallions who have achieved assessable performance in competition or at a foreign usage test participate in the practice test. When the trial of the stallion is done, it is assigned a breeding value class upon approval and is then approved for breeding in SWB.
